My Story

At 36 I received the news no woman ever wants to hear. ‘You will never have your own children.’ I just sat there and couldn’t say a thing. I knew there had to be a way, but doctors were insistent that there wasn’t.  After reeling from the news, I decided to make my own plan B. Through a natural approach which included removing toxic products and adding eastern medicine like acupuncture and herbs and supplements, I was determined to make my own plan.

My story started when I was 35. I met the love of my life a little later than some. We knew from day one that we wanted children. I was married at 36 and had already started trying at the time. We were pregnant naturally the next summer but miscarried at 7 weeks. Six months later with no progress my OB/GYN suggested we go to a fertility doctor. After trying Clomid and a few options, they finally ran more tests.  They sat us down and told us that due to my hormone levels I would never have a child of my own. They gave me a 1% chance, finished by mentioning adoption or donor eggs as our only options, then sent us on our way with little hope. I went to two more REs, who both agreed with their diagnosis. I refused to believe that there was nothing I could do. From there I started researching every single site and book I could get my hands on. I was determined to prove them wrong, and to have a family.

I feel like I have been through so much. Four rounds of IVF, 3 miscarriages, ovarian cysts, donor eggs. I knew I was meant to be a Mom, and in June 2019 that came to be. Madison Grace was born via our own biological embryo through IVF. After that, I knew my eggs could do it, so we went on to do two more rounds of IVF. On the 6th round we implanted one embryo. It split and gave me twin boys. So much for those crappy eggs, huh. I am so grateful for everything I have learned through this process, but also know how hard it is, and how much misleading information is out there.

I now take the hours of research and trial and error and use this site to help others go green and clean. Whether you are struggling with infertility or just want to live a healthier lifestyle I truly hope this information is helpful to you.
